It's true that Colin Edwards II will participate in his final USGP at Indy next month, but rumors now have it that the American may decide to call it a career with Indy and not race the remaining GPs of the '14 season.
Italian media suggest that Edwards may be suffering from a sore or injured back and that may be the culprit in why he would stop.
Given Edwards very physically active lifestyle, the story of a sore back that would prevent him from racing is, ah, one we haven't heard yet. Somehow we wonder if there could be another reason that would make him consider stopping early.
Edwards has been taking part in his Texas Tornado riding camps, of late, and also has posted a movie on his Twitter feed of him throwing hard baseball pitches to his son.
