Eric Bostrom Update

After six hours, it appears that the RC45 that Eric Bostrom is riding with two teammates is leading the Bol dOr 24 hour Endurance race in France, at the Paul Ricard circuit. For the Bol, the full GP circuit is used including the full Mistral straight, which seems about ninety miles long on a production bike. There's some pretty stout competition there, including Niall Mackenizie, Steve Hislop and Terry Rymer.

It has been noted elsewhere that Bostrom escaped injury this morning when the fuel cap on his RC45 failed and the machine caught fire. Bostrom jumped off, but the bike burned to a crisp.
