Friday News
Now that we're back in the office and ready for battle, here's some news:

Ducati increased their share of Gia-Ca-Moto yesterday; they now own 99% of the Ducati high performance parts company. Read more by clicking here.
The slain Honda drag racer case has caused a judge to hit it with a court order to tell those involved to quit flappin' their yaps.
News from England: the reason there is silence from Hazleton regarding the Motocourse cover is because the decsion has yet to be made. The way we see it, this is how it might work:

Put Alex the Great on the cover. Print a Spanish version and the usual english version. Sell four million books in Spain and seventeen books elsewhere.
Put Foggy on the cover. Sell books to every breathing person in the UK, including Webmaster Tim's grandmother (who was a Sheene fan back then). That's roughly twenty million books. Maybe more.
That's their quandry as I see it: Sell out to Superbike and actually make a buck (a rarity in most publishing circles) or stick to their GP ground, put Crasher on the cover and probably build a castle out of unsold books. We'll update this when we get word from the Motocourse folks.
According to Indigo Sports Richard Moore, Erik Buell was actually an on-track extra in the bike flick Silver Dream Racer.
