GENERAL MANAGER STEPS DOWN FROM DUCATI MOTOR

Bologna, Italy, December 8, 2000 - Ducati Motor Holding S.p.A. (NYSE: DMH, Borsa Italiana S.p.A.: DMH), a leading manufacturer of high performance motorcycles, today announced that Engineer Massimo Bordi, General Manager, is leaving the Company to pursue other career opportunities. Among his achievements during his years of service at Ducati, Mr. Bordi was responsible for the development of the Ducati 916 and the Desmoquattro engine, as well as greatly contributing to the success of Ducati's racing team in recent years.

"Ducati takes this opportunity to thank Mr. Bordi for his contribution to the Company and we wish him every success in the future", said Carlo Di Biagio, Chief Executive Officer of Ducati Motor Holding.
