Honda riders Miguel DuHamel and Nicky Hayden are trying a new pits-to-rider communication system this week at Daytona.

The system allows two-way communications between the rider and pits and is said to be legal as per AMA rules.

Early attemps to make a rider/pits communication system work in the early 1990s ended in failure because of too much background noise.
