On his test at Daytona:
"We had some success, but all in all it's a frustrating place to come to."

On his Daytona doldrums:
"It's mental. It's something about going 180 miles an hour next to a wall. It doesn't seem like a good idea to me. Other than that, we got around okay, and on race rubber we went pretty good. So it seems like we're in it, but we'll need to make some improvements with the bike."

On the new Kawasaki engine:
"It was definitely good, you know. We were fighting a little bit of a miss in the motor. It definitely was way up from last year. It had a little more power overall, a little more steam."
