go show blindingly quick @ daytona

On his testing week:
"I'm stoked. Really pumped about going into next season. The Yamaha guys have all been working so hard. I've been working hard."

"I'm not the kindest guy to equipment. I grab it by the scruff of the neck and try to get the maximum out of it. For a guy like me with that kind of style it can work against you here simply because the fact that you have to be conservative with tires. You have to be conservative with the engine. That's what we've been working on. To get the best package to run the race distance in the quickest time."

"I actually went faster than expected. I wanted to do a 48.6 and I did a 48.4 so I'm really happy."

On his preference of an inline four or a v-twin:
"Once you get adapted, it doesn't make much difference."

On his quickest lap.
"I'm a little disappointed that Pascal Picotte cut the chicane and drafted me. When he got in behind me, it wouldn't pull sixth gear, and that was still the 48.4 and only a whisker off the track record. It could have been better.
