The AMASoup Scoop Troop is on the ground at Daytona, where the temp is warm (mid 70s-ish) and the weatherman is calling for showers on Monday. As we all know with the ever-changing coastal weather, however, he could be wrong. Overall, the forecast looks promising for the teams getting in plenty o' track time over the next three days.
Right now, everyone is anxious to see if anyone can outpace Mat Mladin on his Suzuki, if Mike Hale can regain his form on the Honda, how the Meiring kid and Tommy Hayden go on the Championship-winning Kawasaki 600s, and scads more interesting stories. Not the least of which is the Superbike version of Hell Freezing Over as Al Ludington returns to Honda to work on Miguel DuHamel's bikes.
Check back often for the next three days for exclusive stories and photos.
