First Pics: Bayliss Back On The Ducati Superbike
images by images by ducati

Bayliss chats with the man who nearly became the first-ever World Superbike champion--Davide Tardozzi, now Ducati's Superbike manager.

The first day of testing at Valencia was wet--as the drops on Lanzi's shield attest. The second day was sunny and warm. Lanzi posted the fastest time of the test.

Bayliss returns to the post where he last left Superbike--on the factory Ducati team. The last time he raced a Superbike it was at the epic Imola showdown in 2002.

Lanzi wheelies the 999 factory bike at Valencia. With Lanzi, Corser and Bayliss in the series for '06, Superbike is looking up.

While his broken wrist is not yet healed, Bayliss seemed little troubled by the injury, posting the second-fastest times of the test.
