The American CRT bikes of Attack and GPTech tested at the impressive and new Circuit of the Americas facility this week. Here a technician handles the carbon-carbon brakes.

There is absolutely nothing second rate about the COTA facility and nearly all who were at the test left impressed.

Texas. Racetrack. You can faintly see the remnants of the 'Eccelstone stars' in the paint work. COTA painted stars in the paint before their F1 event which had to be painted over.

The GPTech bike on the stand in the garage at COTA. Riders for the effort were Mike Barnes and Ty Howard.

The 3.5 mile layout of COTA is picturesque.

Both teams were limited by inclement weather in the amount of track time they could get.

Remnants remain of COTA's F1 event last Fall.

The GPTech bike on the stand. It is powered by a Suzuki GSX-R1000 engine.

Anytime a CRT bike is tested Bridgestone technicians must be on hand with control tires.

Track was frustratingly wet-ish at times. Note GPTech's rendition of the front brake lever guard.
