Big City Nights: Ducati 1199 Panigale Makes US Debut in Hollywood

A week after the 1199 Panigale debuted in Milan, Ducati held a US coming out party for the bike. It was invite only.	Former world champion Nick Hayden helped pull the cover off the bike for a large group of VIPs. He wears an assuredly soon to be hacksaw-modified cast on his wrist from his Valencia spill.	Ducati held the event at Drai's Nightclub atop the W Hotel in Hollywood. The place and event dripped bling and even featured a runway over the pool.	Human models also walked on water to display Ducati fashions.
The 1199 Panigale features a radical frame-less chassis concept.	You can't spell 'DUCATI' without 'CAT', and you can't debut a new model without a catwalk.	Dress code suggested a touch of Ducati red. Some did better with this than others.	He spent all night staring down at the lights of LA, wondering if he could ever go home.
