Honda's 2010 VFR1200F Detail Images

The VFR will be available in two models (each candy red). A manual 6-speed and the new automatic using dual clutch technology. The auto version will off three riding modes, dry, sport and paddle shift manual.   These cut-away shots show Honda's new fully DTC automatic trans. The gearbox uses a dual clutch, each operated by coaxial transmission shafts, one running inside the other. With a double clutch system the gear selected is followed immediately by the next shift, with the optimal gear already waiting to engage.
