Built upon the success of the neat little SV650, Suzuki announced today their 2003 SV1000 and SV1000S, both with technology based on the Suzuki TL1000. The SV1000 engine is a 90-degree, liquid-cooled, with downdraft four-valve heads, forged pistons and fuel injection. Maybe the best thing about these two bikes? The price. SV1000 standard is $7999 while the SV1000S is 8599, about the same price as some 600s we know. The S model gets a half fairing, twin headlights (we think) and a chin fairing.
