Miguel DuHamel, three-time Daytona 200 winner, crashed his RC51 this afternoon in the turn one area. The 1991 race winner was in the team's pit area after the incident.

Crewchief Ray Plumb confirmed Duhamel was physically okay after the crash. DuHamel returned to action on his 600 Supersport machine late in the afternoon.

DuHamel is said to have been disappointed in the performance of his bike's braking system so far at the tire test.
