Several tantalizing developments are happening on the AMA Superbike exhaust system scene here this week at Daytona.

Mat Mladin's Suzuki GSX-R750 features a twin muffler exhaust system, ala one half of what comes on an RGV500. It's known that Yoshimura stopped using a full exhaust gas analyzer on each exhaust pipe last year and simply went with one in the collector of the head pipes, and now comes a twin muffler exhaust. Even 25 years after the first 4 into one exhausts hit the street the science behind it continues to evolve.

And the 2002 HRC RC51 that Japan shipped over here? It has a single exhaust ala Colin Edwards WSC machine.
