According to Aaron Yates' manager, Cliff Nobles, Yates had successful surgery on his broken leg this afternoon and things are looking good at this point.

"Aaron had surgery this afternoon at Dr. Kieffer's Gem City Bone and Joint. The surgery repaired his broken tibia and tibia. Initial prognosis is that everything went fine. He'll be there for two or three more days, go home for Christmas and return to Laramie for rehab. According to Kieffer, he's already got almost 100% range of motion in his ankle."

Kieffer put plates and screws in Yates' leg to repair it.
