Later this morning the Mayor of Monterey will designate July 5th as the official Valentino Rossi Day in Monterey for perpetuity.
Along with the key to the city and the official designation, Rossi will also be written into a new printing of Steinbeck’s novel, Cannery Row. The words and characters for “Mack and the boys” will be replaced with “Rossi and Uccio”.
Fine, they won’t.
