Sources in and around Monterey suggest that the World Superbike race at Laguna Seca Raceway is in peril, and “probably not coming back” in 2020.
A quick call to Laguna Seca’s ticket office asking when WSBK tickets and camping spots may be available for purchase was met with minimal information; the person stating that the 2020 Laguna Seca WSBK race is not yet confirmed, but if it were tickets would not go on sale until after January 1.
MotoAmerica lists Laguna Seca on their 2020 calendar. However, their event, scheduled for July 16, is listed as “TBC” (To be confirmed).
Other northern California sources suggest that Laguna Seca may hold a “motorcycle festival” in July.
