The late Marco Simoncelli loved all things America.
The last time we saw Sic with our eyes he was in his favorite American restaurant, Denny’s, in Indianapolis. That wall of hair was parked in front of three different Denny’s entrees and he was talking fast with his Italian Gresini crew. Many American fans also remember seeing Simoncelli eating at Denny’s over the years.
Every year at Indy MotoGP we try to eat dinner at the Denny’s we last saw Sic in (6241 Crawfordsville Rd). We sit there with our angioplasty-food and remember him fondly.
Tonight, 1993 world champion Kevin Schwantz joined us at Denny’s to remember his late friend.
