There are at least three racetracks in the USA that meet FIM racetrack standards–CoTA, Laguna Seca, Indy and probably Utah.
If, and it remains a very big if, CoTA does not re-open after this crisis do not be surprised if Indy gets their MotoGP round back as a replacement venue. Or simply as a venue. As a man who works in MotoGP management said this week: “Anything is possible. On so many levels.” Does that mean that the USA could see more than one MotoGP round in the 2020/2021 season patch job?
“Anything is possible,” repeated the man.
