Biaggi Is Back & Feeling The Love. Wait, What?

“Thank you for the birthday wishes and for all the affection I have received every day. Unforgettable. I love you all. Max.”

Max Biaggi: Soon he’ll be back to keeping his helmets in the fridge like every normal rider does. thanks Gi&Gi

Max Biaggi broke the silence and, on the day of his 46th birthday, he wrote the message that all motorcycle enthusiasts were awaiting from his room at San Camillo Hospital in Rome.

This time I risked not being here, the nicest gift is getting out of intensive care after 17 days. Thank you for the birthday wishes and for all the affection I have received every day. Unforgettable. I love you all. Max.

Just a few lines, but they have great significance because this time Max’s was truly in serious trouble. The accident he had while training with the Supermotard on the Sagitattario track of Latina left him with 11 broken ribs, a broken collarbone and lung injuries for which he underwent surgery.

The hashtags used by the Corsair were #ritornoalla vita #paura #maxisback. Biaggi knows that he risked big, but he also know that he can now breathe a sigh of relief and focus on recovering.

Max is back and he is the one who said so.
