Thirteen-time world champion Angel Nieto is in a coma in Spain after suffering a head injury while riding a four-wheeler on the on the Spanish holiday island of Ibiza.
Nieto is probably one of the greatest GP riders of all time–with nearly all of his success happening in the now semi-forgotten 50, 80 and 125cc classes. Like most Latin riders Nieto is quite colorful–he refers to his tally of world championships as “twelve and one more” because of his devout superstitions.
