According to numerous flight tracking sites, Dorna’s missing jet is now in the air and on its way to Argentina.
It’s been interesting to watch reaction to the news of the plane being delayed and the possibility that MotoGP might have to, if the plane might be further delayed, do one long morning practice on Sunday, then race in the afternoon. Some suggest that this is an impossible feat.
All the dirt trackers in the reading audience are assuredly rolling their eyes right now as dirt track remains a place where riders unload-race-reload in one day.
Additionally in the 2000s AMA Superbike was delayed until Sunday because of weather, and all classes practiced and raced in one day, several times.
It was Nicky Hayden’s dream to do a show up and race MotoGP event. Wet or dry, he didn’t care.
