Where does a three-time Superbike champion, Grand Prix rider and member of the Grand Slam Club begin his journey in racing?

Judging by this photo, found in the legendary Soup office (storage) garage/archive, racing against a girl and a kid in a snowmobile suit on mini-bikes. Doug Chandler is fourth from the left, number 150. This photo was taken at Fort Ord by the late Big Bill Spencer.

Spencer was a very big supporter of Chandler’s childhood career. He took the California kid all over “back East” for amateur races when Doug’s dad could not get away.
