Happy Birthday King Kenny Roberts

A brief “that’s Kenny” story:

Once I was–kind of–working on one of the KR MotoGP bikes in the museum. I asked him where I could find more of the seemingly missing parts and some tools.

The King looked around for a minute before stopping short and then shouting at the top of his lungs in the direction of the adjoining shop. “HEY DICKHEAD! GET IN HERE! he yelled.

Four guys came running.

I have to admit it was pretty effective “KR management”.

Happy Birthday King.
