Aprilia MotoGP rider Andrea Iannone says he’s completely relaxed and “open to any counter analysis” on his bombshell positive drug test.
Iannone claims he has undergone “continuous checks” this season and and that all of them have been negative.
The reality of the situation is that there won’t be any kind of “counter analysis”. The FIM long ago entrusted WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) with their drug screen program.
Generally there isn’t a “later test” on a new sample. As is official procedure, Iannone gave two samples to the FIM at Sepang. The second vial has presumably not been tested yet but typically the urine used for a second test is from urine taken at the same time as the first.
