The batshit crazy nature of the Isle of ManTT may come to the silver screen of Hollywood in the near future in a feature film.
Filmmaker and longtime motorcycle enthusiast Ben Younger aims to start production soon of “Isle of Man,” a drama-thriller set around the most famous motorcycle street race on Earth. Club racer and track day man Younger recently made “Bleed For This,” a feature film about the comeback of boxer Vinny Paz from serious injuries suffered in a car accident to win a world championship.
Bold Films is financing the project. The company also provided the cash for the critically acclaimed film “Nightcrawler” starring Jake Gyllenhaal.
The plot of “Isle of Man” reportedly revolves a young TT rider whose father died while racing in the TT. The youngster has another mentor in the form of his tuner, who also competed on the Mountain Course until his career ended due to injuries.
