Italian media that were shown the closed-circuit video from the intersection where Nicky Hayden was struck by a car last week suggest that apparently Hayden did not stop for the stop sign before venturing into the intersection.
Also, other media sources suggest that an iPod music device was found near the crash site and that it was hot to the touch. Is it Hayden’s? Unknown.
Hayden is still fighting for his life in an Italian hospital. He suffered brain and body injuries in the crash.
