It’s been rumored for months that Josh Hayes may return to MotoAmerica roadracing in 2019. And not in a ‘pointing and explaining’ role.
Anyone who has seen their job “downsized” can probably empathize with Hayes. The veteran American rider was still very competitive when Yamaha USA moved him into a coaching and testing role in the blue team. Hayes says that contract ends at the end of 2018; and further, he never intended to stop racing.
