Jorge Lorenzo is traveling to Japan with medical staff after a last minute mini-bike race against Dani Pedrosa and the Espargaro ended badly for the former champion.
Just days before the Japanese Grand Prix Lorenzo suffered a hard crash on his shoulder while riding with his countrymen. Lorenzo’s shoulder is in a sling and he has reportedly been diagnosed with “ligament damage”.
Lorenzo said that his injury is “no problem” in terms of being able to ride in Japan later in the week.
Lorenzo claimed victory at the recent MotoGP round at Aragon.
