No Harley XR750s in the field at Daytona TT

XR750
Little Stevie Bonsey’s XR750 at Austin last year. Bonsey is still recovering from injuries suffered in that race.

For the first time since probably 1970, there was no Harley-Davidson XR750 in the field of a Twins flat track national at the Daytona TT.

Harley’s iconic racer is a very competitive motorcycle but costs an absolute fortune to maintain.

In the end, the count for the 18-rider national went: 12 Kawasaki Ninja 650s; and two each of the Indian FTR750, Harley XG750R and Yamaha FZ07.
