Rossi and Marquez pushed from the start and by mid-race were running a solid 1-2 in the drenched conditions. Marquez lost the front at high speed and crashed, ending any realistic shot he has at winning the 2015 world title. Rossi had a clear view with little spray pressed on …

Jack Miller crashed and took out Cal Crutchlow. Crutchlow went out on a B bike and crashed again.

Danilo Petrucci finished second on the motorcycle that Cal Crutchlow raced last season while a Ducati rider.

Scott Redding announced this morning that he’d signed with Pramac Ducati for 2016, after giving interviews criticizing the Honda RC213V he has ridden this season. Then he finished sixth in the race.

Marquez limped away from his fairly massive face plant-style crash but was seen in the garage later.

While his HJC helmet stayed intact in this race, Jorge Lorenzo’s shield looked to be totally fogged in the race.

Dorna’s MotoGP live internet feed failed for apparently vast portions of North America.
