Soupkast Episode 194.43: Hogspoli

American James Rispoli is a former AMA Supersport front-runner who left these shores for British Superbike. He lived in and raced in England for a number of years where he enjoyed a strong UK fan base and backing from top sponsors like the late musician Keith Flint.

He’s back in America now and racing the AFT Production Twins competition class and winning, on a Harley-Davidson. The Milwaukee brethren have adopted him and bestowed him with the nickname “Hogspoli”.

East-coast native Rispoli is a charismatic man with a great many good stories, including how the cut-throat world of BSB racing prepared him to race … dirt track?  Also, on how being broke and out of a ride is a great motivator.
