Frenchman Johnny Zarco doing an unexpected “ass pack” on Marc Marquez yesterday at the Island, and Zarco’s sore butt afterward remind us of the time that National Champion and Daytona winner Gene Romero took a high speed crash mostly on his posterior, and the resulting photo. Others have suffered this fate, including WSBK champion Ben Spies–and have the scars to prove it.
