Nicky Hayden’s memory is obviously still well-embedded within us, it’s as if he’d never gone. Yesterday Ben Spies went to Misano, at Nicky’s accident site, where he deposited the US flag and a bunch of flowers.
Texas Terror reported his gesture on Instagram, where he commented.
“This was a tough one Nick…brought you our flag. Fresh flowers and tightened up all your gifts up so your looking right my man. After being here none of this makes sense. Every fan, rival, friend, and checkered flag will miss you #rideonkentuckykid #69”
