Two-time MotoGP champion Casey Stoner has been released from the hospital after developing a mystery kidney ailment.
Stoner–still recovering from his huge crash during the Suzuka 8 Hours race in July–was riding his bicycle when he became ill. He was admitted the hospital later that day where it was determined that one of his kidneys was only partially working.
After staying a few nights, Stoner was released from the hospital but suggested that there was not a concrete diagnosis given as to why the kidney began to fail.
Stoner remains an HRC test rider.
