Yamaha rider Johann Zarco put a hard pass on factory Honda rider Dani Pedrosa in the Argentinian Grand Prix which resulted–there didn’t seem to be contact–with Pedrosa being moved over by Zarco to a part of the track where traction was limited. Pedrosa tried to maintain his line but high-sided out of the race. Initially it was suspected that Pedrosa had broken something in the fall.
Spanish reports now have it that Pedrosa will undergo wrist surgery today in Spain. This certainly puts Pedrosa’s participation in the Austin Grand Prix in ten days time in doubt.
